I'm going to rule that the -2 Charisma normally applied to these rolls as the Count is a vamp don't have any affect, as you're not in the presence of the V'Sori. The Count rolls a 2 with a 2 for the Wild Die. Not good enough to have an effect on the conversation.)

"My advice?" The V'Sori voice seems almost amused by the notion. "My advice would be to lay down your arms and submit to the glory of the V'Sori Empire. That said, a debt such is owed to me for my disgrace cannot be easily forgotten. I will provide counsel on the grounds that our mutual enemy is eliminated. Remain where you are."

An audible click suggests that the line has been disconnected and the Omegans are left in silence.

As the Omegans leave the tenement building, the first rays of dawn are beginning to fall across the dismal streets of Southpoint. Ikaran has agreed to enforce a temporary communications blackout in the vicinity of Hydra's base at your signal. His only condition for assisting you is that before you kill the Warlord, you show him a small silver pendant which he has given you. It is the symbol of Ikaran’s disgrace and his demotion. Shavak will know instantly who helped to author his doom.

You return to your hideout and begin to make plans for your assault on the Mutant Mastermind's base. Hydra's base is a palatial mansion built into the side of a sheer cliff located about 25 miles south of Star City on the mainland. A single, lonely strip of badly paved road off the main highway provides the only easy means of access to the mansion.

are their beeches or is it a cliff face, how high?, could we approach from the the sea unseen?

(OOC: The compound is bordered by sheer cliffs. I would say that they would be an extremely difficult climb. That said, both Red Dragon and The Count could use their abilities to get up there. More difficult for Red Dragon as she jumps rather than flies. Professor Mastermind could presumably build a flight device also. You have no way of knowing how the cliffs are monitored or protected, however)
