Daring Tales 'gang bang'

I thought I would throw this idea out and see what the response was. I know that '09 is turning out to be a pretty pulpy year, but I thought it might be fun to run the Daring Tales adventures from Triple Ace Game as intended; pick-up games with the pre-gen characters. Each scenario could be run by anyone who wants to (though it would be cool if everyone took a turn) and characters would be handed out at random for each scenario. Basically the same person wouldn't be running all the games and players wouldn't necessarily play the same characters each time.

They are nice scenarios and easy to run.

Yep, i'd be in for that. Should point out that the adventures will need purchasing although they're pretty reasonable at $6 for the PDF. I have the first one which contains two adventures which should be good enough to get us started. If there is interest, can I propose we shoot for early March to run the first one?

I don't mind kicking off proceedings and running To End All Wars, like I said they are designed as pick up games, so they can run any time 4 gamers gather...

I suppose it depends on when it can be fitted in to the current schedule. I don't know what else is running and how long it will take, but as long as I have a week or two notice it shouldn't be a problem.

The weekly gaming schedule has gone to pot, pretty much. Partially, at least, due to my absence. This means the schedule is clear at the moment so if you want to set up Daring Tales, then go for it. I've now got the scenarios through number 4, by the way.

OK, consider me a standby at the moment. I'm in if our current domestic issues get sorted out by then.
If you can find four other players in the interim who can definitely commit, then i'll step aside as my availability probably won't be known until a day or two before.

As it is intened as a pick up game - I may run it on a Wednesday as an alternative to boardgaming which already gives me 3 players.

Technically yes, but I wouldn't run it for a few weeks (even if i decide to) as one of the regulars is away for the next couple of weeks and it's less of a priority as it is mainly a boardgaming group, so more of a change of pace, but I do fancy running something.
