For those of you who are interested, and have Sky,
There is a new station on channel 148, CBS adventure.
They are showing The remasted original Star Trek series with all new shiny effects daily at 12pm, 6pm and 9pm

These are actually pretty good. The new effects shots fit in seamlessly and don't break the pacing of the episodes as I remember them.
