Warhammer Mini campaign

With the warhammer gaming seeming to have dropped off , both myself and russ have started a mini campaign which i hope leads onto a more expanded campaign if all goes to plan , So we will be posting gaming reports for each game and i hope to be able to knock up some background bits as well

General Summary

Following the loss of communication with a outlying settlement A Blood Angels Detachment was sent to investigate as the final communication made refereance to a xeno's descovery.
As the blood Angels approached the area they were met by a Tyrannid Host .

The battle lines were drawn and battle commenced with the blood angels Chaplin , death company , and assault marines moving forward to engage the tyrannid host as close range , Both side exchanged shots at which 3 termagaunts and a assault marine were lost .

The tactical squad moved to secure a objective lining up against a what seemed like a wave of gaunts , meanwhile the genestealers moving independent of the hive mind secured the furthest objective .

The battle then seemed to degenerate into close combat as both the space marine tactical squad and the genestealers defended their objective markers.

Battle continued in close combat with the Chaplin and his accompanying death company troopers engaged the Tyrannid Warriors which ultimately ended with the death of the Tyrannid warriors.

The game ended with a tactical win for the Space Marines (as each had equal objectives secured the winner was decided on deaths inflicted)



A enjoyable game the first of 5 culminating in a major battle on game 5.
