Well, there's a few of us around Redhill, I know that much - I'm Ian and I'm waving at you all from what is unofficially Rick's Monday Night Redhill RPG club; thanks to Kevin for our GH initiation.

I'm a recent-ish convert to RPGs, having started with a 2nd edition homebrew DnD campaign about 8 years ago and moving through the newer editions. I've run a short Victoriana campaign (although this was also slightly homebrewy, I'm more into Steampunk fantasy as I think it gives more scope for events) at the club and enjoyed L5R and Cthulhu (both horrifically lethal).

The original post forgot to say the GW kids look down on the LARPers... Sad to say that I started as one of your aforementioned GW kids, but only retain an interest in Blood Bowl. I just wish there were more boardgamers around, it is hard to even get a game of Munchkin these days.
