Cthulhu Busters?

Anyone know of, created, or had thoughts on a (secret) organisation that would oppose the Cthulhu mythos in the '20's? I was just wondering is anybody had any ideas on such a thing; basically anti-cultists. I know there is Delta Green (which has it's roots in the 1920's) but preferably such an organisation would not be linked to the government/military and the resources they have available. The only ones that seem to come close in the tales that I've read are Henry Armitage and his mob at Miskatonic U. and possibly Professor Shrewsbury and Titus Crow - though non of these could really be called an organisation.
