wild target
there is a new film out called WIld target with Bill Nighy and Rupert Grint, i just watched the trailer and find my self souting at the screen.
heres the thing, some minute details in films annoy me. like not using the right cars in Jurassic park, or the plastic gun in Rodger rabbit. weel in the trailer there is a red mini in a car park. it is abritish film so the steering wheel is on the right side. there is am moment where they get in the car all is good, just before the end of the film they have flipped the image over and the sterring wheel is on the wrong side.
do they think i wouldnt notice.......I DID...sloppy very sloppy

Re: wild target
same sort of thing got me about a tv ad a few years ago,
it was for a car(cant remember wich) anyway it was set in india with a young ladd looking at this poster on the wall for this new car, so the ladd gets holed of this old LEFT handed car and starts doing body work on it night and day with hammers, mallets and eliphants(i kid you not) until he has produced a perfact RIGHT handed copy of the car on the poster. good advert, bad continuity

Mike - Which version of Roger Rabbit have you been watching?
I would suggest the film 'Rodger' Rabbit is very different from the loveable cartoon comedy with Bob Hoskins in!!

Bob Hoskins????? i dont remember him...
its the bit where he is in toon town with the cartoon gun in an alley he moves left to right one second the gun is a cartoon the next the gun is a blue real prop.
poor editing.

Now i am fully aware of the film Who framed Roger Rabit staring Bob Hoskings(wich will most likely be up for a 3D retrofit at some point in the near future ) but as to this `Rodger Rabbit` you seam to know a lot about and sounds entirly too seedy for my tastes i am afraid that this one has passed me by......
