Thursday Gaming - Pick Up Games

Following discussions on Thursday, it seems to make sense that we should have some games on standby in case the planned session doesn't happen. I'm preparing a Golden Age - Mutants and Masterminds adventure set during World War 2. The premise is that you are "mystery men" operating in the UK during the dark days of the 1940's. What I need from you players is a character type you'd like to play. Bear in mind that this is comics' golden age so gritty, psycopaths won't cut it. I know some of you are not as versed in these things as I am but a little bit of research will help point you in the right direction. Start by looking here and here for a start. Post ideas in this thread and i'll generate the characters for you.

Kevin, it's no problem. We all have real world issues which get in the way as I know only too well. Just seems sensible to be prepared.

The Golden-era superhero character concept I have devised is called "The White Knight". When called upon to serve his King (George VI), he would ride out to fight injustice clothed in some kind of medieval-knights armour (with a helmet to disguise his true identity). He would embody the mythical-chivalrous ideals of a bygone age and could maybe be armed with a sword or lance that is super-powered in some way (perhaps they can fire some kind of energy beam that can be used to disable his opponents). I was also taken by the contrast of a character who looks like a knight in shining armour, standing alongside our brave soldiers in the 2nd World War. What do you think?
